Jigokudani Snow Monkey Park – Japan

Located in Yamanouchi, Japan, Jigokudani Snow Monkey Park is situated in the valley of the Yokoyu-River. It is the only place on the planet earth where you see monkeys bathe in hot springs.
The name Jigokudani, translated “Hells’ Valley”, is given to the park as a result of the steam and boiling water that bubbles out of small crevices in the frozen ground, surrounded by steep cliffs and formidably cold and hostile forests (Wikipedia).
Snow Monkey Park is a beautiful place for tourists to visit and have their vacation. The park is a peaceful place for monkeys to live. The park is inhabited by troops of wild Japanese macaques also referred to as snow monkeys. The snow monkeys have been there for ages and the park serves as a paradise on earth for the monkeys to stay.
Walking from the entrance of the park, there is one man-made pool around where the monkeys gather. Apart from park wardens, visitors are neither allowed to feed nor touch the monkeys.
Citing from japan-guide.com, the best timing for tourists to visit the park is January and February as monkeys enter the bath around the year. Report indicated that there is usually snow in the region from December to March.

Mount Fuji-Japan
Have you heard of the most iconic land mark in Japan, thus Mount Fuji? Mount Fuji is the highest mountain in Japan at 3,776 meters. Mount Fuji stands on the border between Yamanashi and Shizuoka prefectures.
Situated in Ashigarashimo district in the region of Kanto, it is regarded as one of the sacred mountains in Japan and has been worshipped.
It is considered as a pilgrimage site for centuries. One popular activities that takes place on Mount Fuji is summit hikes. Mount Fuji is well viewed when one is on a journey in a train from Tokyo to Osaka. Unlike summer, during colder seasons visibility is clearer.

Built in 1631-1653, the monument Taj Mahal is situated in Agra, Ultra Pradesh in India covering the area of 17 hectares. On the right bank of the river Yamuna in Agra, it is an ivory-white marble mausoleum. It is one of the popular historical monument all over the world. The Taj Mahal is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful buildings ever created.
It has an elevation of 73 meters. It was built for Mumtaz Mahal for her tomb to be housed there as she was the wife to the then fifth Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan as Taj Mahal was commissioned by him in 1631. Shan Jahan’s tomb is also housed in the Taj Mahal.
The governing body of Taj Mahal is the government of India. It is considered one of the seven wonders of the world. Taj Mahal is the most visited monument in India not only by international tourists but by domestic tourists thus, by those living in India too.
Not only as a renowned symbol of love but Taj Mahal symbolizes the wealth and power of Shah Jahan. The monument has been source of admiration transcending culture and geography.
Inside the Taj Mahal, one will see Floors Covered in Octagonal Stars, Two Empty Cenotaphs, Mehtab Taj, The Tomb of both Mumtaz Mahal and Shah Jahan, Baby Taj and Walls Inlaid with Precious Stones and many more.
One cannot write off the white dome at the centre of the mausoleum which is one of the unique features of the architecture of the beautiful monument.

Singapore Zoo
Singapore Zoo is one of the best rainforest zoos in the world since Its gate was first opened to the general public in the year 1973.
Situated on the north-western side of the island, this establishment serves as a home to wondrous wildlife. As one of the best zoos in the world, Singapore zoo has received many international recognitions. It is the world-leading free-ranging orangutan exhibit.
The zoo has been a haven to more than 2,800 animals from 300 species. Californian sea lion, white tigers, Malayan tapirs, goat, aviary, pony, ah meng, sheba, inuka and crocodile among others are all found in the zoo.
Tourists will also find the most endangered animal which is mousedeer in the zoo.

Sri Lanka gained independence from Britain in 1948, February 4. Sri Lanka is formerly called Ceylon and located in South Asia.
The Dambulla Cave Temple is regarded as the largest Temple Complex in Sri Lanka. The statutes and the temples were dated back to the 12th Century AD.
It is built on a black rocky mountain and also has five rooms of varied sizes. These five rooms have Budddha in a different position, looking peaceful and calm.
Sources indicate that the paintings and statutes are related to Guatemma Buddha and his life. The Temple Complex also has four statutes of gods and goddesses, a total of 153 Buddha statutes and three statutes of Sri Lankan kings.
The Dambulla Cave Temple is in the central of Sri Lanka and situated 148kilometres east of the capital city of Sri Lanka, Colombo. It is closer to Matale than both Colombo and Kandy.
